I have one small complaint about this hidden gem. Portion size! However the flavors of what I had were phenomenal and because of that, the portion size complaint completely disappears. It is a bit on the expensive side, but this day and age, you pay for what you get. I'd definitely recommend this hole in a wall for the quality of the food, the attentiveness of the staff, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant

No reservation on a Wednesday night. 2 top was available as well as the bar and window bar. There were 3 tables around us with 3-6 people and it was UPPERCASE LOUD!!! Really difficult to have a conversation unless you were yelling. Which made other people yell to hear their conversation which quickly turned into a death metal concert. So wouldnβt recommend for a date night unless you are going outside of peak hours. Food ranking in order: 1) Pork belly appetizer (would get again) 2) Mussels which came with a ginormous and delicious piece of bread (would get again) 3) Fett, house made noodles were very good. Seemed like a house take on a carbonara but lacked the salty/savory aspect of guanciale that you would get in a classic carbonara. Ok dish (Would NOT get again) 4) Oysters. Half dozen. Came with a citrus mignonette and a hot sauce. Good not great (Would not get again) 5) Classic burger. On burger night. Other reviews are either fake or written by people who have only had McDonaldβs hamburgers. Extremely underwhelming in terms of flavor and quality. (Would not get again)

The atmosphere was quaint which is code(x) for tight, but it was very cute. We did not have a reservation but they accommodated us with bar seating. The bartender made 0 eye contact with me but insisted on making contant goo goo eyes at my partner as if I didnt exist. It was my birthday. I felt very unseen . Even when she checked back to see if the food was okay- only asked my partner. Yikes. Wasnt sure if it was just an attraction thing or a race thing but again since it was an intimate birthday dinner celebrating me, I couldnt help but notice the lack of attentiveness. Food was delicious. We had a couple of appetizers. The Brussel Sprouts are AMAZING. 10/10 recommend anyone trying them out.

The service was excellent, but the food wasn't great (although it looked great). I ordered the Bread & Butter, the Oyster Mushrooms, and the Burger. The Bread and Butter was delicious. However, the oyster mushrooms tasted fishy which was off putting. I had high hopes for the Burger after reading other reviews online but it was underwhelming to say the least. The meat was not good and tasted overworked. What's really annoying is they add a 20% gratuity to the bill without saying anything, and I didn't notice until wrote in the tip for 20% and noticed the text at the bottom. So I ended up tipping 40% instead of my usual 20% which I do even if the food is bad. The service was really good so I just let it be but that's so unheard of, especially for one person. I get adding a fixed gratuity on a check for 5+ people but that's the only time it makes sense. It's also worth mentioning that the restaurant is just generally uncomfortable. The seats are wood and it's all one room so it's loud. Overall it wasn't a good experience.

Upon walking in, it was packed so first impressions is the food must be good. I didn't have a reservation but it was seating available at the bar like table facing the garage style door for 2. I tried briefly before arriving to find menu on the IG page, I didn't see one. I ordered the pineapple ginger mock tail as they have a set non alcoholic menu. My friend order same meal and 2 cocktail as pictured. The bread and butter is an appetizer it was actually really good. Food got the beef ribs, with grits, and potatoes asked to whole the carrots. You can omit an item but no substitutions. The rib was juicy and tender the grits paired well with rib, but the potatoes are undercooked. The service from entire staff was great, very attentive. I came, I tried but not the place for a return for me.
